1. We refrain from tagging commercial vehicles. There are some people and many businesses that need a big vehicle. Our beef isn’t with them. It is with the mass of mindless consumers who want to impress themselves and their friends with their big car.

2. Obviously those people in small economy cars aren’t the problem. If everybody drove a Prius we would use a fraction of the gas we consume today. Therefore I don’t waste my time on economy cars. Our point is to chastise those who could have bought a 30 plus mpg vehicle but choose to keep their head in the sand and continue in their unreflective and destructive consumer habits.

3. If someone catches you in the act of tagging their car, be polite, tell them the bumper sticker comes off easily, and that you are doing it for their kids so that maybe there will be a shred of livable biosphere left for them to live in. Maybe if you tell them predicted consequences of global warming (click here to get the punchlist) they might pause for thought.
